Whether intended to replace or supplement the formal essay-writing activity in an English course, the “unessay” offers students a new and engaging problem-solving opportunity by dismantling standard response parameters. This roundtable highlights a wide range of unessay projects and encourages participants to discuss the benefits and challenges of this kind of assignment.
